About
About Mokk. A live AI interviewer built for product marketing interviews.
Why Mokk exists
A product marketing interview tests judgment out loud. You get asked how you would position a product against a stronger incumbent, then you get a follow-up that pokes at the weakest part of your answer. Most people prepare by reading. Reading helps you know what a good answer contains. It doesn't help you produce one on the spot, twenty minutes into a loop, with a hiring manager waiting.
Until recently the options for spoken practice were a friend who has time, a coach who charges by the hour, or a general chatbot that asks one question and praises whatever you say. Mokk is the practice partner we wanted before our own loops. It is available the night before, it doesn't get tired of the same question, and it scores every answer the same way, so you can tell whether you're improving.
Who builds it
Mokk is built by product marketers with experience at software companies including Atlassian and Figma. The team has run launches, written positioning, and been through the interview loops this site describes, as the person answering and as the person asking. That experience shapes the rubric, the questions, and the follow-ups the interviewer chooses.
Mokk is independent. No company named in a guide has paid to appear or reviewed what we wrote about it, and the people who build Mokk write in a personal capacity, not for their employers.
What Mokk stands for
- Practice, never cheating. Mokk is for rehearsal. It has no live interview assistant, it doesn't listen to real interviews, and it never will. Some tools feed answers to people during real interviews. That hurts the people who use them, and it makes hiring worse for everyone.
- One rubric, applied the same way every time. Every answer is scored on the same five competencies at four levels. A fixed rubric is what makes a score mean something across sessions. Read the rubric.
- Honest guides. Company guides separate what a company confirms from what people report, and every company guide lists its sources. See how we write guides.
- Your recordings are yours. Mokk doesn't share recordings or transcripts with employers or recruiters, and it doesn't sell your data. See trust and data.
What Mokk is not
Mokk is a tool for people preparing for interviews. It is not a hiring platform, and it doesn't screen applicants for employers. It is also not Mokka, a separate company that sells AI interviews to recruiting teams. Mokk lives at mokk.ai and the app runs at app.mokk.ai.
Mokk is not a replacement for a great human coach either. A coach who has run loops at your target company will catch things software can't. Many people use both, with Mokk for volume and a coach for one or two sessions near the end. The comparison page lays out when each makes sense.

Common questions
- Is Mokk only for product marketing managers?
- Yes, for now. The questions, rubric, and follow-ups are all built for product marketing roles, from associate PMM to director. If you are interviewing for an adjacent role such as growth or portfolio marketing, it still helps, because the same competencies apply.
- How much does Mokk cost?
- Your first credit is free. After that, credits come in packs from $9, with no subscription, and they never expire. A single question costs 1 credit and a full interview costs 3. See pricing.
- Does Mokk help during a real interview?
- No. Mokk is only for practice. It has no feature that listens to or assists with a live interview, and it won't add one.
- How do I report a mistake on the site?
- Email team@mokk.ai with the page and what is wrong. Company facts change often, and corrections are made as soon as they're confirmed.
