What we collect
When you use Mokk, we collect the information you give us directly (your email address and, if you paste one in, the text of a job posting), the audio from your practice interviews, and the transcripts and competency scores Mokk generates from that audio.
Analytics and cookies
We use PostHog and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how people find and use Mokk. On mokk.ai, that means which pages you visit, what you click, and where you came from. In the app, it also means which features you use, such as starting or finishing a practice interview, linked to your account.
PostHog sets a cookie on mokk.ai that is shared with the app, so we can tell when a visit to the site leads to a signup. It is a first-party cookie. We do not use it for advertising, and it does not follow you to other sites. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies.
In the app, PostHog also records session replays: a recording of what happens on screen, which can include your transcripts and feedback. Text you type into form fields is masked. We watch replays to find bugs and fix confusing screens. We don't record replays on mokk.ai.
How we use it
We use your interview audio to generate a transcript, score your answers against the PMM rubric, and give you feedback. We use your email to manage your account and send you your results. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Who can access your recordings
Your interview audio and transcripts are visible to you in your account. They are processed by the AI systems that power scoring and by our team only when needed to fix a bug or respond to a support request you've raised. PostHog stores our analytics and session replays on our behalf. We do not share individual recordings or transcripts with employers, recruiters, or any other third party.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data and session history for as long as your account is active so you can track your progress over time. You can request deletion of your account, including your recordings and transcripts, at any time. Session replays are deleted automatically after 30 days.
