Trust and data. What Mokk keeps, who can see it, and how to delete it.
What Mokk collects
- Your account. Your email address and your credit balance.
- What you paste in. The text of a job posting, when you build an interview from one.
- Your practice sessions. The audio of your answers, the transcripts made from it, and the scores and feedback Mokk generates.
- How the product is used. Pages visited and features used, through PostHog and Vercel Web Analytics. In the app, PostHog also records session replays to find bugs, with typed text masked. Replays are deleted after 30 days.
Payments go through Stripe. Mokk never sees or stores your card number.

Mokk uses OpenAI through its API. OpenAI's published API policy says it does not train its models on API data by default. Mokk does not train any model on your recordings or transcripts.
Who can see your recordings
You can. The AI services above process them to run and score the interview. A member of the Mokk team looks at a session only when you raise a support request about it or when a bug can't be fixed any other way.
No one else. Mokk doesn't share individual recordings, transcripts, or scores with employers, recruiters, or any other third party, and it doesn't sell personal data. Practicing with Mokk is never visible to a company you are interviewing with.
How long it is kept and how to delete it
Your sessions stay in your account while it is active, so you can see how your scores change over time. You can ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be deleted, including every recording and transcript, by emailing privacy@mokk.ai. A person on the team handles every request.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Data is stored with Supabase, which encrypts it at rest, and access is limited to the few people who run the service. If you find a security problem, email team@mokk.ai and it is treated as urgent.
Practice, never live help
Mokk only runs practice interviews. It has no feature that listens to a real interview or suggests answers during one, and it won't build one. Employers can trust that someone who prepared with Mokk is answering for themselves.
Common questions
- Can an employer see that I practiced with Mokk?
- No. Mokk doesn't share recordings, transcripts, scores, or the fact that you have an account with any employer or recruiter.
- Are my recordings used to train AI models?
- No. Mokk doesn't train models on your sessions, and OpenAI's API policy says it does not train on API data by default.
- How do I delete my account and recordings?
- Email privacy@mokk.ai from the address on your account. Your account, recordings, transcripts, and scores are deleted, and you get a confirmation.
